To mark London Borough of Culture 2022, the Korean Cultura Centre (KCCUK) collaborated with Lewisham Art House to present Drifting Terrain, a group exhibition featuring recent and newly-commissioned works by Euphrosyne Andrews, Nia Fekri and Seungwon Jung. The exhibition is rooted on the geological sphere of the two localities of Lewisham and Embankment, representing different communities and cultural codes. Blurring the boundaries and shifting our perceptions, these three artists bring their works and practices into the KCCUK as a way to redefine the spaces we inhabit within a socio-political context. The presented works over-lap boundary and space, to question the distinction of ‘centre’ and ‘periphery’, and to highlight the possibility of sharing urban space.
