The title of the exhibition cites the 1955 film produced for Lister and Co, documenting the production of weaving (specifically velvet) that was used widely in both the domestic and public realm. A series of embossments reflect on the intricacies and craft involved within such commercial production processes, further explored through a number of large format textile pieces. A floor based installation guides viewers interactions with the space and the works within it, drawing reference to the original design of the building and its use as a public library.
