To mark London Borough of Culture 2022, the Korean Cultural Centre (KCCUK) collaborated with Lewisham Art House to present a group exhibition featuring commissioned works by Euphrosyne Andrews, Nia Fekri and Seungwon Jung. The exhibition is rooted on the geological sphere of the two localities of Lewisham and Embankment, representing different communities and cultural codes. The works in the exhibition explore the spaces we inhabit within a socio-political context, over-lapping boundaries and space, to question the distinction of ‘centre’ and ‘periphery’, and highlight the possibility of sharing urban space.
